VP of Practice Development & Marketing
Adam Jay joined Unified Physician Management in April 2016 as Vice President of Practice Development. Shortly thereafter, his role was expanded to include leadership of the Marketing department as well. As VP of Practice Development and Marketing, Adam leads the overall growth strategy of the practices in seven states and the District of Columbia, as well as emerging markets. Additionally, he oversees the Marketing department for both the Unified Physician Management, and Unified Women’s Healthcare brands. He is a senior sales executive with over 15 years of hands-on experience in sales leadership, sales training, operational, and marketing experience with expertise in the pharmaceutical, medical device, and managed care space.
Prior to joining UPM, Adam was the Manager of Strategic and Competitive Development at Hologic, the recognized worldwide leader in Women’s Healthcare. He developed national strategy to enhance product revenue within the surgical division. Previously while at Hologic, he progressed from the number one Territory Manager in the company to Regional Manager of Clinical Sales, where he successfully led a team of 22 that worked exclusively with Ob-Gyns implementing the Novasure® and Myosure® procedures. During his tenure at Hologic, Adam was responsible for the management of the UPM business, making him uniquely qualified for his current role. His experience includes award winning performance at all levels including multiple awards and President Club trips. Adam started his healthcare career at Shire Pharmaceuticals where he successfully launched 3 new products in the ADHD space.
Adam holds a BS in Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University.
