Aaron M. Sudbury, MD is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as Female Pelvic Medicine and Reproductive Surgery through the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is formerly President of Florida Woman Care, the largest Ob-Gyn group in the state of Florida with 514 providers, and continues to serve on its Clinical Governance Board in his role as Medical Director with UPM. He has served on The Board of Directors since 2012, established and chaired The Quality Assurance and Patient Safety Committee and established and organized The National EHR Committee. Dr. Sudbury attended University of Miami School of Medicine for his medical degree and completed his Residency at Western Pennsylvania Hospital. He has been in private practice in Manatee County since 2004 when he started a solo practice. Since then he has evolved along with the medical environment first by expanding his practice, then by joining one of the largest physician owned practices in the country. Dr. Sudbury has maintained full involvement in the Manatee County Medical Society and Florida Medical Association (FMA) since his first year out of residency. He has served on the FMA board for about 10 years and is currently serving FMA, including Secretary of FMA PAC and also Chair of the Counsel on Medical Economics and Practice Innovation. Dr. Sudbury has been the Chief of Staff and has served on The Board of Governors at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center for the past 4 years. He is in touch with physician and patient concerns and the changing dynamics of medical practice.
