Transformation in healthcare truly occurs when it is physician-led. In 2009, Unified started as a small group of OB/GYN physicians and has quickly grown to over 1,300 women's healthcare providers, who make a difference in women's healthcare. This growth in a relatively short period of time has occurred because we strive to stay ahead of the ever-changing healthcare curve and remain relevant to the needs of our partner physicians and their administrative teams. Clinical decision-making of care remains at the local level while all partners receive the benefits of a national network of support and knowledge.
Unified currently has practice partners in nine states including Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, New Jersey, North Carolina, Texas, Washington and the District of Columbia. As we meet with more private practices across the nation and share our model, data and analytics, and proven practice benefits and results, we look forward to expanding our reach and creating meaningful alignments with the best women's healthcare providers in each state.
